The product offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling.
 

JOB PURPOSE
 

To provide ‘Hands on’ support to all engine products used on Sandvik Equipment.

The work performed by the Technical Specialist - Engines is important to overall Machine performance and site operation.

The job requires full commitment to the Duties and Responsibilities outlined in Section below.

Accurate reporting, self-discipline and a high work output are essential in this capacity
 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshooting and Engine DiagnosticsEngine repairsTo provide accurate information on request, from a sound understanding of Machine Manuals and Technical Information.Perform duties as prescribed on MMS documentation and complete the same correctlyWorkshop / Site commissioning of Engines with exact completion of documentationCarry out Troubleshooting procedures and Engine Diagnostic investigations.Carry out Site / Workshop Engine repairs with quality workmanship.Complete accurate Technical Reports on work carried outEngine Parts Books and Technical ManualsMaintenance Management System proceduresUnit Commissioning and Data recordingWorking closely with all Product Masters on engine related issues on related equipment products.Technical Reporting

EXPERIENCE

Certified Automotive or Diesel TechnicianPreferred to have an Advanced Automotive or Diesel Technicians Certificate2 Years Product ExperienceComputer Experience

EDUCATION

Certified Automotive or Diesel Technician
