**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for a highly skilled **Technical Specialist(Design)** to provide expert technical support and guidance throughout the design phases of our large scale development project. You’ll focus on ensuring technical excellence, innovation, and compliance across all engineering and design disciplines, helping deliver robust, practical, and quality design solutions.
**What You’ll Be Doing:**
+ You’ll review technical design submissions and specifications to ensure accuracy, compliance, and constructability.
+ You’ll provide expert advice on complex technical challenges related to building and infrastructure systems.
+ You’ll collaborate closely with design teams, consultants, and project managers to resolve technical issues and optimize solutions.
+ You’ll assist in the development and enforcement of design standards, guidelines, and quality control processes.
+ You’ll support technical risk assessments and mitigation strategies during design development.
+ You’ll contribute to value engineering exercises by providing technical insights and alternatives.
+ You’ll review technical reports, calculations, and analyses for completeness and correctness.
+ You’ll stay up-to-date with industry best practices, codes, and emerging technologies relevant to the project.
**What Required Skills You’ll Bring:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture, or related technical discipline.
+ Minimum 10 years of technical experience on large-scale building and infrastructure projects.
+ Deep understanding of multi-disciplinary design and engineering processes.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
+ Proficiency in technical software relevant to your specialty (AutoCAD, Revit, analysis tools, etc.).
**What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:**
+ Advanced degree or professional certification related to your technical specialty is a plus.
+ Experience with ultra-luxury developments or giga projects in the Middle East.
+ Familiarity with BIM workflows and digital engineering tools.
+ Knowledge of relevant international codes, standards, and quality systems.
