Technical Specialist 1

PDS Tech is hiring a Technical Specialist to join our Failure Analysis team supporting customer field returns.

Location: Peachtree City, GA

Shift: Mon - Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm

$24.46/hr. | 6-Month Contract (possible extension)

What You’ll Do

Investigate electronic defects & document results

Assist engineers with root cause & corrective action testing

Operate lab equipment: multimeters, microscopes, X-ray

Follow procedures for testing & troubleshooting

What We’re Looking For

Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Tech or equivalent experience

2+ years in product testing / electronic troubleshooting

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Familiarity with Windows-based databases.

Skilled with schematics, soldering (QFN/QFP/BGA), PCB repair

Knowledge of IPC standards:

IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies)

IPC-7711/21 (Rework, Modification, and Repair of Electronic Assemblies)



Pay Details: $24.46 per hour
