The Technical Solution Engineer role involves understanding the business needs and technical requirements of our customers to design solutions using a mix of Invenco, incumbent, and other vendor products. It combines pre-sales, sales engineering, and business analysis, serving as a crucial link between customers and the company's business, development, and technical teams; and acts as a global conduit between CDMs and customers, ensuring timely issue resolution.
\nHere are some of the key responsibilities of the role.
\nSolution Design
\n· Collaborate with internal and global teams to develop solutions using Invenco by GVR products & solutions
\n· Work with Business development to translate customer and market needs into clear technical solutions
\n· Be a crucial link between customers and the company’s business development and technical delivery teams
\n· Conduct site visits and be involved in customer discussions
\nPre-Sales and Sales Engineering
\n· Provide assistance with Requests for Information and Pricing
\n· Work with Business Development team to provide product, business and technical knowledge in support of pre-sales activities.
\n· As part of a cross-functional bid management ream, submit RFPs, RFIs and EOIs to prospective customers within set deadlines.
\nCustomer Management
\n· Build strong customer relationships, serving as the key link between customers, business development, 3rd party vendors and technical teams before and during the project life cycle.
\n· Provide pre-sales and technical support, conducting product demos, discussions, and site visits to align solutions with customer needs.
\n· Prepare user friendly business and technical documentation including presentations, proposals, and project updates.
\nProject Support and Technical Resolution
\n· Act as the primary technical point of contact during pilot implementations, ensuring smooth setup and resolving issues promptly.
\n· Provide comprehensive training and documentation to service partners and internal teams, including user manuals and guides.

About your Experience
You’ll have worked in a similar role with experience designing technical solutions. Most importantly, you will love working with customers and be able to collaborate across a range of different teams to get projects delivered.
· 3+ years experience in designing technical solutions
\n· Relevant tertiary qualification in IT or Engineering
\n· Proven experience working in an Agile project team environment
\n· Has worked in a sales engineer or similar position.
\n· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English
\n· No restrictions to travel
\n· Desirable: Experience supporting payment systems (ie. Cards / POS payment industry)
