Microsoft’s Cloud business is expanding, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the hardware infrastructure underlying this growth including AI! We are seeking a Technical Solution Manager to join its Readiness Engineering & Sovereign (RE&S) Team.

The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is supported by more than 300 datacenters around the world that enable services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries.

This role is critical to ensuring that Microsoft Sovereign customers have access to sellable capacity by managing day-to-day deployments and identifying operational gaps. The ideal candidate will bring a technical foundation in servers, security, and/or AI, along with a proven ability to analyze data, interpret metrics, and drive process improvements. You will use incident trends, deployment delays, and performance data to proactively recommend and implement changes that mature our Sovereign operations.

This individual contributor role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, communicates effectively across engineering and business teams, and is passionate about building scalable, efficient, and secure cloud infrastructure. 

Cloud Manufacturing Operations and Fulfillment (CMOF) organization within CSCP manages business operations performance and supplies hardware to the datacenters. Well-defined and executed supply chain management ensures reliable, on-time performance and optimized cost, prevents urgent and unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization.
