We are looking for you to join our team as a Technical Services Project Management Specialist based out of San Diego, CA supporting the F-35 Program.
The Technical Services Project Management Specialist leads and directs one or more project teams in the professional services arena. Prepares project execution plan and coordinates activities between client and company personnel. Monitors project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections. Oversee performance of projects or engagements and typically utilizes management skills more than technical skills. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team(s).
What You'll Det to Do:
Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between program management, production, planning, procurement, supply chain, project team, and line management
Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports
Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress, intervention and problem solving with Project Managers, Line Managers, Program Management and Clients
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant professional experience in project management, supply chain, engineering or business (OR a master's degree and relevant professional experience in project management, supply chain, engineering or business OR in lieu of a degree, 6 years of relevant professional/military experience that includes a background in project management, supply chain, engineering or business may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
Experience with Microsoft Office applications to include advanced skills using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (Pivot Tables)
The ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
Current/Active Secret Security Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR/SAP)
Experience with MRP
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Experience gathering, manipulating, and processing raw data at scale. Interpreting data provided by SAP, PDM and MES Systems
Experience reading engineering documentation, BOM Structures, and PLM tools
Experience with Process Improvement
Experience with SharePoint

Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
