We currently have an opportunity for a Technical Services Manager. Join our Base and Estate Management team and play a key role in providing specialised technical support as a subject matter expert to the Contract, which requires effective Zero Harm management, continual fiscal & financial control experience, strong leadership, good communication and sound management of project teams. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
Ensure that contract standards are adhered to when dealing with clients and subcontractors. Develop and maintain a project change management plan.Develop and maintain regular client contact and form strong working relationships both internally and externally.Understand the client’s objectives and ensure they are met.Identify opportunities to improve business performance and growth.Thorough knowledge of the contract commercials, scope of works, specifications and technical requirements on which the SOW is based.
What You’ll Bring
Tertiary qualified in either a building or engineering discipline, or a trades background is required. Leadership and compliance qualification or experience + Previous experience in a supervisory role.Experience in the management of large contracts/projects, and solid background in subcontractor management.Strong commercial, contractual and financial acumen, with ability to develop comprehensive cost and progress reports.Hold or ability to obtain a Defence security clearance.
