Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Technical Services Manager.
**What you’ll do:**
To provide vision and leadership by planning and directing the efforts of the maintenance team members to maintain site equipment, instrumentation, utilities, and facilities in compliance with good engineering practices. In addition, this
role supports efforts to integrate industry 4.0 technologies to boost plant productivity.This position is also responsible for managing the activities, financials / budget, and personnel required for the current and future needs of our facilities.
Managing of activities includes ensuring compliance and quality standards are achieved to budget while driving for continuous improvement in all aspects of facility and equipment management.
1. Leadership to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facilities, workshop and manufacturing equipment, including general & preventive maintenance, environmental, janitorial, and life-safety are implemented and carried out in a
manner consistent with the company's policies and requirements.
2. Ensure safe and reliable operation of the plant through strict adherence to safe work practices by all maintenance department personnel
3. Lead technical services function for optimal functionality of existing building systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, and controls/instrumentation. Multidisciplinary knowledge and experience a
must.
4. Development and management of ongoing maintenance processes and schedules for buildings and machinery. Develops preventive maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff
5. Development of and adherence to technical services budget.
6. Development, scheduling, and project management of facility, capacity, machinery, new manufacturing technology implementation projects, as assigned, and evaluate performance.
7. Lead the selection, installation and testing of new equipment to ensure fulfillment of quality and productivity specifications.
8. Establish contractual relationship and negotiations of service contracts with outside service vendors to request service and/or parts for repairs and services that require specialized skills.
9. Support production teams in process optimization, improvements in area of yields, capacity, defect reduction, and waste minimization
10. Ensures fire and life safety system inspections are documented and reported to local authorities
11. Manage plant-wide maintenance maximizing asset reliability, uptime, and cost effectiveness with available resources
12. Develop and execute necessary processes needed to effectively preserve, track, and accurately assess fixed asset base
13. Develop and execute skills assessment and future competency development plan for based on current needs and future technology evolution
14. Lead major projects to deploy Industry 4.0 tools & technologies into manufacturing operations utilizing predictive maintenance devices
15. Participate and develop project risk assessment, including MOC (Management of change), permits submissions in order to comply EHS requirements and regulations.
16. Develop and deploy Business Continuity Plan.
17. Coordinate with EHS Manager for site compliance, needs and priorities.
18. Assist with capital improvement process including strategic planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and project execution.
19. Oversight of the Tool and Die, Maintenance, Automation and Facilities to assure proper support to production processes

**Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electric, Electromechanical Engineer (or similar)
Minimum 10 years of experience in similar positionsTechnical
**Skills:**
Fully bilingual (English / Spanish).
Strong knowledge in the electrical and mechanical fields, equipment and machine design, and building maintenance techniques.
Knowledge in: Lean, 6 Sigma and Technical Statistics, ProLaunch, Safety standards and regulations, Industry 4.0
