Technical Service Sales Executive
Civil Service Fast Stream
Job Description Are you an engineer ready to take the leap into sales? Our client, a leading provider of marine engine services, is looking for a Technical Service Sales Executive to join their growing team. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a background in marine or mechanical engineering who’s eager to move into a client-facing, commercial role.
You’ll start by supporting service and sales activities — learning the ropes from seasoned account managers — and progressively step into direct customer engagement, proposal development, and relationship-building.
Your Day To Day: Support sales and service efforts related to maintenance, repair, and upgrades of marine equipment. Assist in technical meetings, proposal development, and service planning with existing and prospective clients. Act as a liaison between customers and internal engineering teams, helping define requirements and align technical solutions. Help prepare and present service proposals and quotations, with increasing autonomy. Coordinate service schedules and maintain accurate service documentation. Build deep product knowledge and a clear understanding of the marine services market. Play a role in identifying new business opportunities and expanding client relationships. Your Background: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in marine or mechanical engineering, field service, or technical support. Strong technical base, with a genuine interest in sales, customer relations, and business development. Confident communicator who enjoys working with people, not just machines. A team player who can connect with both technical specialists and business stakeholders. Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Why Apply? Transition into a commercial career path without leaving your technical roots behind. Work with a reputable marine engineering firm with a strong client base. Receive mentorship and training in sales and customer management. Contribute directly to high-impact marine projects across the region. Interested? Apply now or reach out for a confidential discussion about how this role can align with your career goals.
