Technical Service Engineer
YOUR TASK and RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform installation of device, Virtual Care, preventive maintenance, and repair of medical equipment (e.g., injectors, monitors, etc.) using approved Bayer documentation.
• Achieving the post-warranty PM sales budget to contribute to the over-all achievement of Service Team Annual Budget
• Conduct system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and calibration plus basic Clinical applications use of the end -users
• Provide on-site or remote support to customers during system setup and testing
• Assist in basic clinical application tasks such as product demonstrations, user guidance, and workflow support
• Identify opportunities for preventive maintenance service contracts during service visits.
• Explain the value of PMS to customers and help close PMS deals
• Collaborate with Clinical and Sales teams during customer training or system acceptance
• Document service activities, reports, and customer feedback accurately and timely
• Escalate technical issues to higher-level support teams when needed
• Maintain tools, spare parts, and service documentation in good order
• Stay updated on product knowledge, service procedures, and clinical workflow basics by joining the training and certifications provided by Bayer.
WHO YOU ARE:
• Degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience in servicing medical equipment is preferred
• Basic understanding of clinical workflows and imaging modalities (CT, MRI, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel and support field operations
• Customer-focused, team-oriented, and adaptable
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with contrast media injectors or patient monitoring systems
• Experience in conducting product demos or clinical assistance
• Certification or training in clinical application support is a plus
