Job Summary

This position focuses on the technical optimization of digital resources, website performance, and backend SEO elements to ensure maximum site speed, code efficiency, and technical search engine optimization for optimal user experience and search rankings.

Job Responsibilities:

Technical SEO Implementation

Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement optimization strategiesOptimize website architecture, URL structures, and internal linking for search enginesManage technical SEO elements including robots.txt, .htaccess, XML sitemaps, and metadataImplement and maintain structured data markup (Schema.org) across the websiteMonitor and resolve crawl errors, duplicate content issues, and indexation problemsEnsure mobile-first indexing compliance and technical mobile optimization

Website Performance & Speed Optimization

Conduct detailed site speed audits and implement performance improvementsOptimize images, compress files, and implement efficient caching strategiesMinimize and optimize CSS, JavaScript, and HTML code for faster loading timesImplement Content Delivery Network (CDN) strategies and server-side optimizationsMonitor Core Web Vitals and ensure compliance with Google's page experience signalsCollaborate with development teams on technical implementation of performance improvements

Code Efficiency & Technical Implementation

Review and optimize website code for search engine crawlability and user experienceImplement technical solutions for international SEO (hreflang, geo-targeting)Manage server-side redirects, canonical tags, and technical URL managementWork with development teams on technical requirements for new features and pagesEnsure proper implementation of tracking codes and analytics without impacting site speedMonitor and optimize database queries and server response times

Generative Search Technical Optimization

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, web development, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related professional work experience6+ years of experience in technical SEO, web development, or website performance optimization4+ years working with enterprise-level websites and complex technical implementationsProven experience improving website speed and Core Web Vitals scoresExpert knowledge of technical SEO best practices and search engine crawling/indexingAdvanced understanding of website architecture, server configurations, and hosting environmentsExperience with technical SEO for generative search and AI-powered platformsProficiency in implementing structured data and rich snippetsAdvanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, or JavaScriptFamiliarity with Content Management Systems and their technical SEO implicationsKnowledge of Google PageSpeed Insights, WebPageTest, and LighthouseAdvanced Google Analytics and Google Search Console implementation and analysisExperience with technical SEO tools (Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Botify, etc.)Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersExperience working in agile development environments

Base Salary Range:

$100,400.00 - $150,600.00
