The Senior Technical Program Manager works as part of an integrated team within a matrix model, engaging cross-functionally with local and global teams to deliver NCR Atleos solutions to Financial banking clients in North America.
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
A customer-facing Technical Program Management leadership role, ultimately responsible for program leadership, delivery execution excellence, executive-level communications and governance, with a focus on delivering a high level of client experience throughout the lifecycle of a program or project.

Technical Program Management Leadership
Lead a program/project with a duration of 1-2 years and a matrix cross-functional team size of 10- 25+
Build and maintain relationships with senior executives within our client organizations
Report on delivery status to executives and operational stakeholders
Developing and maintaining integrated project plans
Proactively anticipate issues and risks, and develop and support mitigation plans
Monitor all development and execution activities across all phases of the project
Responsible for driving a governance framework to support communication, risk management and executive dashboard report of the program/project
Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
Effectively applies methodology and enforces project standards.
Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
B.A. or equivalent.
8-10 years’ experience in complicated technical programs and project management
Strong focus on program management, leadership, and governance
Experience in the Financial Services Industry/Banking – outsourcing, managed services, application development environments
Strong technical acumen with experience in Hardware, Software, Services, and Professional Services offerings in the IT industry
History of successful team management and leadership. Helps virtual team members prioritize their workload, manage deadlines, and respond effectively to tasks.
Aggressive self-starter, able to rally team support for process and accountability in a rapidly changing environment.
Experience working in a matrix organization across functional teams and geographies. Able to accomplish objectives through influence, vs. reporting structure.
Demonstrates the ability to think strategically, yet can problem-solve and drive tactical execution.
Strong communications and presentation skills to be able to interact with senior-level executives across the company, customers, and prospects.
Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required.
