**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) to lead our Single-Use Division within the Bioproduction Division in Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and implementing strategic plans, and providing technical expertise to our customers in the biopharmaceutical industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage the Single-Use Division TSS team to achieve or exceed sales targets and business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and increase market share in the bioproduction segment.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers, addressing their needs and challenges with single-use technologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, field application scientist, and customer experience, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and technical documents to customers and internal teams.
- Provide training and mentorship to the sales team to enhance their technical knowledge and sales skills.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote Thermo Fisher’s single-use solutions.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in technical sales or business development within the biopharmaceutical industry, with a focus on single-use technologies.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong technical knowledge of single-use systems and their applications in bioproduction.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and social skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a strong sales team.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience working in a global organization with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in both Japanese and English.
