We’re hiring for TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE: Northwest, Western Free State and parts of Northern Cape

As Technical sales representative you will be responsible for being a member of the Southern African sales team based in Centurion.

You Will Be Part of Growing Team

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be required to support the commercial team to achieve financial goals and maximise product sales by providing high quality service in your territory. All product training is provided. There will be a lot of travel in the role, with nights away.

Your Challenge:

Supporting sales of existing productsProviding high quality technical product information and trainingExecute company and territory strategic plan and distribution strategyImplementing marketing plansMonthly product forecastingAttendance at key industry field days and study groupsParticipation in product portfolio management teamsAssisting the national team launch new products over the next couple of years.

Key Stakeholders and Interactions:

The candidate will be required to communicate with people and develop relationships with key customers.

Postgraduate qualification in Agricultural Science or similarThree to five years’ experience in crop protection related businessSound understanding of agricultural farming systemsSome sales experienceGood communication and relationship development skillsProficiency in EnglishProven experience engaging with local communities and relationship buildingValid driver’s license required
