Technical Sales Expert (TSE) specializes in facilitating the sales process for complex & advanced offerings specific to the technical knowledge of the platform, application, or solution.
TSE bridges the gap between solution selling and domain and/or tribal technical knowledge to support sales reps in growing, managing, and pursuing clients/targets.
TSE will evangelize, educate, and influence the sales teams to advance the growth of Diversified’s solutions & offerings. This is defined in the BU initiatives and deliverables.
TSE support sales reps in the overall sales process helping to build the most strategic and efficient approach to winning business.
Responsible for:
Continual improvement of solution line and business unit growth Optimization of solution line and business growth Evangelizing, Educating, and Influencing DE Sales and Cross-BU Sales to advance Digital Experience initiatives and deliverables Enabling the sales of large-scale projects or workflows Combining superior Product Knowledge and Sales Engineering acumen with a high level of integrity, along with the objective of developing mutually beneficial, long-term solutions & relationships for Digital Experience clientsRole Detail:
Serve as a subject matter expert supporting Diversified’s efforts in the Digital Experience space internally and client facing In addition to supporting clients on initial opportunity discovery, serve as the internal liaison for AEs outside of the Digital Experience group Have a consultative approach to opportunities, and understand how to investigate business KPI’s at large, and relate that to technology offerings in the industry to build a value-added solution Have a knack for asking broader questions and discerning long-term needs and solutions outside of the traditional “product” sale. This style of opportunity and selling is inherent to Digital Experience and is a requirement to be effective Have a grasp of technology as it relates to the industry’s current and future state, plus continuous improvement of their vendor and/or partner knowledge and expertise
Sales Detail:
Engage and communicate with customers, internal personnel on Digital Experience’s strategies related to the following technologies: Digital Signage w/Managed Services CMS platforms, capabilities, rollouts Immersive, Experiential applications Content Creation, Creative Services Work in conjunction with internal business units within Diversified and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders. Work in conjunction with core vendor partners and maintain strategic alliancesPursue and develop Digital Experience business opportunities within the entirety of the Diversified customer base, as well as other potential growth markets with Account Executives Spearhead proposal-creation projects and RFP opportunities Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the Digital Experience space to both external clients as well as other Diversified Sales Professionals Continue education in the Digital Experience space, and keep abreast on the evolving technology landscape Educate clients on emerging technologies in the Digital Experience space
Technical Detail:
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical acumen, with the ability to drive change and function in a complex fast paced technical environment Experience with developing and optimizing outcome-based solutions revolving around Digital Signage on prem or ‘aaS’, CMS platforms and capabilities, Immersive and Experiential solutions Ability to work autonomously with teams to develop systems which satisfy requirements Familiarity with Digital Signage, CMS architecture and Security practices Understanding of IT and networking technologies
