Cvent is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our rapidly growing Technology Team. Cvent’s Technology Team is responsible for the design, development, and operation of the company’s suite of enterprise level cloud-based software products. The technology department boasts sharp technical skills and the ability to use collaboration and analytical prowess in an agile environment to work through complex problems. The tech team focuses on releasing innovative, feature-filled products that solidify Cvent’s position as a leader in the events industry. In This Role, You Will: Work with internal stakeholders to identify and manage complex cross functional programs and projects Facilitate and communicate to stakeholders the process of planning and execution of cross functional roadmaps Provide Engineering with thorough user-stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria Work side-by-side with Engineering and Quality Assurance to scope and execute on program offerings while strictly adhering to business and compliance requirements Engage in proactive collaboration and thought leadership with PM counterparts globally Coordinate project work teams consisting of R&D / SRE / blended teams using agile, waterfall, and hybrid methodologies Report and present status updates for communications planning and management Incorporate risk mitigation strategy and contingency planning into project planning and execution Understand and stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape and sector activity Here's What You Need: 1-2 years’ experience in managing a program or projects using standardized PMI and Agile methodologies, especially within the enterprise SaaS industry Experience within all project phases and knowledge areas: communication, cost, human resource, scope, risk, contingency, time, quality, integration, and procurement Process driven mindset, detailed-oriented, rapid learner, enjoys trouble-shooting complex issues Strong aptitude in project skills; teamwork skills; strong desire to empower others Have experience influencing cross-functional teams, building relationships with stakeholders Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet or other standard Project Management tools Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Sigma, Business Objects, Cognos, etc. is a plus PRINCE, PMP or CSM Certification is a plus Have strong opinions, loosely held Physical Demands We are not able to offer sponsorship for this position
