This position will join the Digital Intelligence Practice Group.
Based in Ciudad de Mexico (Hybrid)
We are seeking a highly motivated, bilingual (Spanish/English), Technical Project Manager to focus on successful delivery of projects related to Digital Intelligent projects. As such this person shall have hands on experience on integrating technologies to deliver complex solutions to clients. He/She shall be recognized as a trusted source of technical knowledge and their deductive skills will support providing insights into approaching the proper technical solution and the capability to take the best decisions to successfully meet project technical requirements and support the team meet the deadlines.
The Technical Project Manager will report directly to the Practice Group Lead and will ensure that technology adheres to client requirements and business goals; this role is required to have a high degree of technical acquaintance and soft skills to manage the subject matter experts to take the best decisions to design, build and deploy Digital Intelligence solutions. As such, this role is required to travel no more than 20% of hist time to directly supervise, coordinate and monitor the execution of projects, while keeping the Practice Group Lead informed of risks, issues and critical decisions needed for the projects.
Main responsibilities:
Understand each of the project’s technical requirementsAssign, prioritize and follow-up on subject matter expert activitiesConduct/Assist to meetings where technical requirements are discussed and/or definedReview technical documentation on the following areas of expertise:Electronic/Electrical devicesCommunication devices: switches, firewalls, AP, RoutersServers, Virtualization, StorageMetal Mechanic plansElectrical/Electronical diagramsLead and provide guidance to these technical teams:IT Infrastructure teamTechnology IntegrationEquipment InstallationConsultingLogistics/Provision SupplySoftware developersReview and refine technical reports to be presented to customersOversee the execution of the technical activities on the areas mentioned above.Review, comment, optimize and approve work schedulesHelp logistics in negotiations with suppliersExplain technical issues to manufacturers so they can understand it and provide a solutionPlan and review test protocols for UAT, FAT, SAT.Revision and control of progress and contracted Work volumes.Review, comment and optimize manuals, reports, specifications, requirements.Ensure that all Works are done in accordance with project requirements and standards.Capture client requirements and translate them into actionable items for the technical teamsQualifications
Bachelor’s Degree: in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computational Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (Degree required).A minimum of 3 years of software developmentA minimum of 5 years as subject matter expert in technology integrationA minimum of 3 years with onsite experience for project delivery5 years leading a technology team1 Year of Experience interacting with clientsIT knowledge experienceUnderstanding Servers/Storage technologyFull command of verbal and written English communications skills.Experience using agile methodologies for project managementCapable of managing multiple fronts simoultaneouslyExperience using Jira or similar tool for activity managementExperienced with Microsoft Project (is a plus)Master degree in Technical Subject (is a plus)Additional Information
