Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in manufacturing or the rail industry? This opportunity could be the perfect fit for you!

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Project Manager to join our Engineering team at our Transit Division in Blairsville, PA. This new role plays a key part in driving the successful execution of complex projects related to the design, manufacturing, overhaul, and delivery of wheelsets and related components for passenger transit rail vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support cross-functional project teams through all phases of the project lifecycleAct as the primary liaison between internal departments and external customers/stakeholdersEnsure all project activities meet technical, regulatory, and quality standards, with accurate progress reporting and documentation.Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing outcomes and recommending process enhancements.Collaborate with operations to schedule and coordinate shop floor activities based on project timelines and priorities.

Qualifications

Required:

5+ years of experience in technical project management within a manufacturing or rail-related environmentSolid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processesStrong track record of leading complex projects involving multiple stakeholdersExcellent communication, organization, and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize effectivelyFamiliarity with standards such as EN 13260, EN 13261, EN 13262, APTA, and AARBackground in rail vehicle or heavy equipment manufacturingExperience working in matrix organizations or cross-functional teams without direct authorityProficiency in technical writing and project documentationWillingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred:

Experience with wheelset design, forged steel materials, machining, or assembly processes.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
