Technical Project Manager

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team.  In this role you will coordinate and lead implementation projects for Clarivate customers. You will also define, scope and manage multiple projects of varying size/complexity and will work with senior project and other management to ensure technical and/or business objectives are achieved.   If this sounds like an opportunity you are interested in, then we would love to talk to you!

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience5 + years of experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, Implementation Consultant, or other equivalent experienceEffectively applies Project Management methodology, PS procedures, processes, etc.End to end project delivery of software projects and servicesCross-functional teams’ coordination to ensure the project are completed on time, within scope and budget, and meeting the quality standardsExcellent analytical and troubleshooting skillsDemonstrated ability to manage several complex tasks concurrently and meet deadlinesExcellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to deliver trainingAbility to learn new information quickly and keep up with rapidly changing products and processes

Experience working in a library, academic or other relevant industryDemonstrated ability to manage several complex tasks concurrently and meet deadlinesAbility to motivate a project team and customers without direct reporting responsibility/authorityAbility to learn new information quickly and keep up with rapidly changing products and processesMaster’s degree in library/information science or a related technical field.PMP or other standard project management certification.Working knowledge of library workflows and standards, and/or document managementProfessional experience with cloud-based or Software as a Service (SaaS) productsPMP / PRINCE2 certified

What will you be doing in this role?

Implementing software products and services across APACParticipate and contributes to process improvement, global initiative, and work standardization across APACAct as overall primary point of contact for the customer project teamCreates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing requirementsManages day-to-day operational aspects of project and scopeManages project risk through mitigation planningFacilitates team and customer meetingsHolds regular status meetings with project teamKeeps executive team and stakeholders informed of project progressEffectively applies Project Management methodology, PS procedures, processes, etc.Perform software product configuration, based on customer’s requirementsAnalyze and troubleshoot customer issues and requests, provide first line support to customers during implementation cycleInterpret and understand customer requirements and workflows and translate into software solutionsProvide product training to customers, via Web-based or on-site trainingReview and contribute to training materials, implementation tools and documents used internally and by customersCoordinate extensively with other teams including Cloud Services, Installation, Support, Sales, and Product ManagementServes as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical specifications
