**Who will you be working with?**
The Technical Project Manager (TPM) will work directly with customers and various Wabtec resources across the company. Internally, the TPM will collaborate with multiple teams, including Product Engineering, Product Line Management, Sales, Contracts Management, and other departments as needed.
In this role, the TPM will be responsible for supporting the Train Handling (TO/LC) product lines, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. This includes overseeing quality, engineering, and operations while managing project risks effectively. A key part of this role involves understanding earned value financials and communicating cost, schedule, and production deliverables to both internal and external stakeholders.
Additionally, the TPM will work closely with the manufacturing team to drive material procurement and parts acquisition for assigned projects.

In this role, the TPM will make a difference by advocating for Wabtec with the customer while also being an ardent advocate for the customer within Wabtec. The TPM’s primary objective is to provide customer-valued service as set forth in established Service support agreements.
**What do we want to know about you?**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required, preferably in Engineering, Software, or Business Management.
+ The ability to lead, drive, and track progress across multiple initiatives simultaneously.
+ Demonstrated capability in continuous, process-driven improvement of technology-based systems.
+ Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and concisely, tailored to various audiences. Proficiency in both Russian and English is required.
+ Proven leadership experience, with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive results, and build strong positive relationships with customers, peers, and senior leadership.
+ Ability to review contracts, develop technical documents, and create presentations for both customers and internal teams.
+ Self-motivated, able to work independently, and skilled in team building.
**Preferred Requirements:**
+ Working knowledge of fundamental railroad maintenance, operations, or train dispatching.
+ Trip Optimizer (TO) experience
+ Commitment to improvement and continuous learning
+ Highly motivated with a strong customer service mindset
+ Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
**What will your typical day look like?**
+ Work closely with customers to identify top priority items and initiatives, coordinating analysis and issue resolution with internal cross-functional teams, including product support, field service, engineering, and operations.
+ Manage Software Release Process activities to support contractual obligations and R&D initiatives.
+ Oversee maintenance services activities, including identification of work structures, software and hardware updates, project scheduling, requirements management, risk mitigation, and communication strategies.
+ Track and report all relevant performance metrics, preparing and presenting reports and project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
+ Utilize Clarity to manage contract budgets, costs, and revenue, ensuring resources meet customer and performance requirements, while providing financial status updates on contract execution.
+ Participate in strategic discussions regarding service contracts, engaging with Sales, Commercial Operations, Contract Management, and Legal teams.
+ Lead the development of proposals and executive deal reviews for projects, identifying opportunities for value-added enhancements to service offerings.
+ Allocate and track project resources, including financial planning and scheduling, ensuring alignment with contractual commitments.
+ Build and manage sub-contractor/third-party business relationships associated with the project.
+ Monitor project success against targets for cost, margin, schedule, personnel allocation, and customer requirements, making necessary adjustments to meet expectations.
+ Plan, prepare, and instruct internal and external training programs to enhance product knowledge.
+ Manage and track customer issues and requests using Salesforce enterprise management system.
+ Support customer enhancement projects, including bid and schedule estimates and management approval activities.
+ May be required to perform additional duties outside the primary function, with training provided as necessary.
