Technical Project Implementation Manager

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Technical Project Implementation Manager to lead and manage complex electronic security solution projects in conjunction with our Physical Access Control Software (PACS) and security integration (SI) partners.

Solutions will include Wi-Fi and integrated electronic locks, readers, credentials (physical & mobile), and software. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Project Manager for technical systems installation, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and create scalable processes for our channel partners.

The work will be in two key areas:

Early launch alpha/beta projects that will involve validating how our newly launched products integrate and function in pilot environments at customer sites with our PACS partners

Implementation of projects with billable services to track installation of solutions for custom keys for our reader and locking products and software implementations of third-party solutions with our PACS partners to support our locking solutions.

What You Will Do:

Project Planning and Scope Definition:

Capture and document project requirements, define scope, roles, ownership, and success metrics. 

Collaborate with internal partners, software partners, and customers to review project plans, understand gaps and assist with providing solutions for these gaps.

Collaborate and Coordinate with Software partners on Alpha/Beta site installs to include design/layout, coordination with site contractors and site personnel including IT/electricians/integrators/hardware installers and other necessary trades.

Project Management:

 Lead complex integrated electronics project installations in partnership with PACS & SI

Manage project kickoff, track milestones, schedule tasks, escalate issues, and ensure successful project closeout at 100% completion. 

Collect post-installation period feedback to identify areas for improvement. 

Stakeholder Coordination:

Serve as the central point of contact for all internal stakeholders, including SBU (Strategic Business Units), FSE (Field Sales Engineers), Sales, and FS (Field Services) as well as external stakeholders including PACS, SI/VAR, and End Users.

Ensure clear communication and alignment across all teams involved in the project. 

Process Development:

Develop repeatable and scalable processes to streamline future implementations. 

Document best practices, lessons learned, and templates for use in future projects. 

Develop repeatable and scalable processes for managing Alpha and Beta programs to streamline future implementations. 

Project Execution:

Provide hands-on field experience and leadership during installations, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards. 

Coordinate with all necessary stakeholders to manage upgrades to systems including site surveys, creating scope of work, identifying resources and required equipment, creating project schedule, execution of work and close out with customer sign off.

Identify and mitigate risks proactively to ensure on-time and successful project delivery. 

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring proper prioritization and resource allocation across all initiatives. 

Work with the appropriate teams to monitor install quality and installation practices to ensure specifications are met.

Proactively identify potential field issues early and organize internal resources to collaborate with external partners to drive to resolution.

What You Need to Succeed:

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Project Manager for technical systems installations, including Security, IT, and Low Voltage (LV) systems. 

Strong ability to capture project requirements, define scope, and establish success metrics. 

Demonstrated success in managing integrated electronics installations from kickoff to closeout. 

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. 

Proficient in coordinating with diverse stakeholders across various functions (SBU, SSE, VAR, PACS, EU, Sales, FS). 

Experience in developing scalable processes for program management. 

Strong problem-solving and risk mitigation skills. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

PMP certification or equivalent is a plus. 

Preferred Technical Skills:

Familiarity with Security, IT, and LV systems installation processes. 

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, or equivalent).

Experience with door hardware and related tools needed for installation.

 Work Environment:

Hybrid role with a mix of fieldwork and remote office project management. 

Up to 30% travel may be required to support installations and stakeholder coordination
