**Area Description**
GFiber is expanding into new markets and the Technical Program Managers (TPMs) play a key part in supporting that expansion strategy. The TPMs at GFiber are responsible for providing project and program management for our Engineering teams. Our Fiber systems leverage cloud-based deployment environments requiring our TPMs to have domain knowledge and application of cloud platforms.
**Role Description (and additional job description)**
As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) at GFiber, you'll spearhead complex programs integrating Salesforce and cloud-native applications across our critical BSS and OSS platforms. This is an end-to-end leadership role where you will transform business and customer needs into impactful technical solutions, guiding projects from initial concept through successful execution. You'll navigate a rich ecosystem of systems, including mobile applications (iOS/Android), customer web portals, robust Salesforce-based backends, intricate fiber management systems, and advanced OSS leveraging object storage services. Your ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and present compelling recommendations to stakeholders will be key to delivering our projects on time and within budget, directly contributing to GFiber's operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
**In this role, you’ll:**
+ Launch new programs based on business or customer needs From ideation and strategic planning to successful launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring alignment with GFiber's strategic objectives.
+ Lead and empower engineering, product, and operations teams, facilitating efficient project execution and agile sprint cycles.
+ Use technical judgment to ensure project delivery, technology reviews, challenge proposals, and build consensus.
+ Effectively manage and motivate geographically dispersed technical teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
+ Take full ownership for delivering complex technical projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, mitigating risks and resolving blockers proactively.
**At a minimum we’d like you to have:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of experience in program management.
+ 5 years of experience leading and collaborating with diverse, cross-functional technical teams (e.g., Engineering, Product, Operations, Business Development).
+ 5 years of experience with delivering technical solutions.
+ Experience in BSS and OSS systems (public cloud hosted).
**It’s preferred if you have:**
+ 5 years of experience managing software projects in cloud and backend systems like BSS and OSS.
+ Solution-oriented mindset demonstrated through previous experience solving technical problems.
+ Ability to balance multiple projects with competing deadlines.
+ Knowledge of Billing and payment solutions Zuora/Adyen.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $185,000 - $203,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
