Technical Program Manager II, Chrome Accessibility

Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. + 2 years of experience in program management. + Experience in leading cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and User Experience (UX) designers or researchers in executing projects and programs from concept to launch. Preferred qualifications: + 5 years of experience working in a matrixed organization with cross-functional and cross-product area projects. + Experience with developing for the open web, including web standards bodies and Chromium. + Ability to navigate through ambiguity and changing conditions. + Ability to drive accountability and ownership. + Excellent investigative, problem-solving, and influencing skills. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. In this role, you will support the Chrome Accessibility team. You will lead, organize, and manage projects and programs, in collaboration with Engineering, Product, Analysts, and Marketing leads. You will manage the programs and deliver Chrome's priorities.Chrome is dedicated to building a better, more open web. We also built Chrome as an open source project so the entire web ecosystem could benefit from the latest innovations in speed, simplicity and security. + Design and roll-out processes and tools to increase the velocity of engineering teams, and the quality of product launches. + Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and User Experience (UX) designers/researchers in executing projects and programs from concept to launch including planning, tracking progress, identifying and resolving issues, and managing dependencies. + Provide program management leadership for the portfolio of program priorities; and establish partnerships with engineering, product, and UX leads. + Deliver transparency to keep core team members aligned, and stakeholders informed. + Leverage an understanding of feature development to identify and build new operational improvements and processes.
