Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems. + Design and optimize the physical layout of data center floors, ensure use of space and resources, including placement of server racks, network equipment, power distribution units (PDUs), and cooling systems. + Design cable tray systems to support data and power cabling for server racks and other equipment, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for cable management. + Calculate power requirements for server racks and other equipment, taking into account redundancy and future growth, and collaborate with electrical engineers to design power distribution systems that meet these requirements. + Determine optimal placement and configuration of server racks, ensuring adequate airflow, bus duct accessibility, optimal network cable routes and maintenance accessibility. + Develop 2D and 3D drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
