As a Lead Technical Product Owner, you will take full ownership of one or more critical modules enabling AI-driven Technical Product Health. You will define the vision, drive development, and ensure successful implementation. Collaborating with engineering teams and business stakeholders, you will shape the roadmap, ensuring modules align with technical requirements, regulatory standards, and the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to building a forward-thinking platform and play a vital part in improving patient outcomes.
Set the strategic technical vision and lead the creation of the roadmap for AI Technical Product Health, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and regulatory compliance, driving impactful outcomes for the platform.
Lead the development and implementation efforts, working with software engineers to ensure scalability, maintainability, and adherence to industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Development, Manufacturing, Regulatory and others to align technical solutions with business needs and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Manage backlogs, user stories, and sprint planning to ensure efficient and effective execution of development efforts.
Identify emerging technologies and suggest potential integrations to help shape the future direction of the platform.
Who you are
You are a proactive and dedicated individual with a passion for shaping technical products and improving patient outcomes. You are experienced in translating technical visions into reality and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Degree in engineering, e.g. in the discipline of process engineering/ electrical engineering or physics
Strong background (minimum 5 years) in software engineering (e.g., C#, PHP, Vue, Angular, R, Python).
Experience in product ownership or technical leadership, ideally within a platform or SaaS environment, with a track record of mentoring or leading cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations (GxP, CFR 21 Part 11, data integrity, etc.) and security best practices for regulated environments.
Understanding of distributed systems or microservices-based architecture, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and API Services.
Experience with data modeling concepts, including database schema definitions and relational databases as well as experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
Familiarity with data processing and visualization for large datasets, including experience with R or python for calculations
Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with system integration, especially with manufacturing (AVEVA PI) or lab systems (e.g., SCADA, LIMS, MES).
Familiarity with GxP-compliant software development life cycle practices.
