The PositionTechnical Product Owner - Cloud

In this context, Roche has built a global team that builds, secures, and operates infrastructure platforms (cloud and on-prem) for its digital products. This team is working with a high freedom to operate in a self-organized setup and is responsible for tackling the cybersecurity, compliance, and infrastructure challenges of the healthcare industry while enabling high-velocity product development.
As a Technical Product Owner for Cloud Secure Account Management team you will lead the development of a strategic product that provides secure and compliant cloud environments (AWS) for hosting Roche’s digital applications Your work will directly support Roche’s global digital transformation by enabling software product teams to deliver healthcare solutions faster and more securely by evolving the navify platform.
The opportunity:
Support and promote a culture of product excellence and a healthy product development lifecycle within the Roche Engineering Community.
Collaborate with product management on strategic roadmapping and alignment; help define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Work closely with architects, compliance, quality, engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams to enable delivery of product features and services.
Act as a customer proxy with engineering teams to define and prioritize features and user stories; participate in agile ceremonies and draft iteration objectives to optimize workflow.
Facilitate clear communication with stakeholders, ensure transparency, manage expectations, coordinate escalations, and liaise with horizontal functions like SRE, Quality, Security, and PMO.
Continuously inspect and adapt processes to improve program quality, assess metrics, evaluate business value, and balance operations, bug fixes, and new features.
Build strong stakeholder relationships, prioritize user-centric design, collect and analyze feedback, manage risks and budgets, ensure documentation, and support product adoption through training.
Who you are:
5+ years of combined experience in software architecture, engineering, operations, and product ownership/management in SaaS, cloud-native, or internet-scale environments, with education in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
Deep understanding of AWS and its ecosystem (e.g., IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS), with hands-on experience in CI/CD practices, GitOps workflows, and tools like GitLab, ArgoCD, and Terraform.
Skilled in leading technical discussions around DevOps, platform engineering, and software delivery; knowledgeable in DevSecOps and integrating security into the development pipeline.
Experience working with complex toolchains and environments using Grafana, Splunk, Vault, and container orchestration solutions.
Fluent in English, familiar with Agile (Scrum or SAFe), experienced in backlog management and iterative delivery; able to manage product delivery in regulated environments and understands compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, HITRUST); healthcare domain experience is a strong plus.
