Esta es tu Oportunidad: TECHNICAL PROCUREMENT SR ANALYST

Tu Rol:

Responsible for the procurement of materials, aircraft parts and tooling for maintaining the cargo aircraft operation in LATAM. This process includes purchase planning, vendor setup, quoting, sourcing, order processing, cost evaluation and follow up of all purchased by DHL, along with its warranty management.

Main responsibilities of the position:

• Reviews all pending request for material, schedule and unscheduled, in order to assure that is procured from the best source possible and within DHL guidelines, in the requited time requested.

• Coordinates with Stores and Maintenance planning all program work pre draws in order to guarantee availability of al ensure items for each maintenance task.

• Periodically evaluates inventory levels in order to maintain it above the minimum required for the operation as designated by management for line maintenance in each station and all program work or task, accomplishing the best fill rate possible, within the stablish budgetary guidelines. This requires coordination with management and repair administrator.

• Follows up on all placed orders to make sure they are delivered in a timely matter and to avoid any delays. Coordinates with all logistics partners the best cost efficient routing to the required destinations in order to fulfill on time the deliveries. Works to consolidate orders when possible with other areas and to grow the internal business thru DHL’s partners.

• Prepares all necessary area reports, to follow up on KPI’s and Vendor performance, in order to aid in reaching the purchasing team goals, maintenance reliability and expected quality

Skills of the position:

Knowledge of TRAX or Aviation Inventory Management System, Local and International Aviation authorities R & R as they pertain to aircraft parts and materials.

Basic understanding of Aviation Materials and aircraft parts market. Knowledge of aircraft parts and their functionality.

Knowledge regulatory framework, rules and regulations as they pertain to the purchase of aircraft parts, including DHL own guidelines and requirements.

Knowledge of industry inventory norms. Knowledge of DHL quality guidelines and KPI’s.

Strong knowledge of statistical modeling.

Excell Proficient (Dynamic Tables and Forecasting)

Requirements and Profile of the position:

Mid-Level Professional. Concerned with problems that have a direct and important effect on business programs and results. Serves as support to management for all purchasing activities. Basic knowledge of technologies, processes, and practices. Typically requires BS/BA in Technical Field and 3-5 years’ experience in related field or MS/MA and generally 1-2 years’ experience in related field.
