YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Day to day oversight of process performance and operations on site, support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis if required, monitor, manage and interpret raw data of production process.Serve as a technical process expert, integrating biological principles with the technical infrastructure of the production facility.Lead continuous improvement to support quality, health and safety, in order to preserve equipment, buildings and systems, coordinating with Technical Teams to ensure that the assets are performing in optimal conditions, eliminating constraints.Be contact person for external partners to ensure equipment maintenance is performed on time.Support training in personnel equipment usage, review and optimize standard operating procedures.Review and potentially reengineer proposals that improve the plant competitiveness, applying operational excellence system as standard work for maximization of production.Support site initiatives throughout all functional areas, emphasizing business priorities and key gaps. Identify and prioritize efficiency projects and drive their implementation in production processes or technology for current substances/products to consistently deliver effective processes.Connect with global and regional experts and establish support chain to develop Biologics Technical Guidance and Recommendations coming from the Strategy.Implement cost improvements relevant to process improvement.Build strong relationships with global production teams, engineering teams, regulatory affairs, global quality to understand, challenge and improve production.
WHO YOU ARE
University degree in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, and similar.At least 5 - 6 years of relevant industrial experience in fermentation, and/or downstream processing, process technology. Intermediate - Advanced English proficiency.Desirable special knowledge: hands-on experience in upstream and/or downstream processing including industrial relevant software, knowledge in industrial microbiology.Design, and selection of process equipment for Biotech.Ability to work on numerous projects at the same time and work. Effective facilitator and communication through encouragement, motivation, and inspirational skills at all levels of the organization.Strong willingness and ability to deliver results, with a good sense of priority.
