We’re seeking a highly driven Technical Operations Manager to join our team and support the Augmedix product line. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Account Management, and Operations to define, implement, and continuously improve mission-critical business processes. You’ll have end-to-end ownership over initiatives that enhance internal efficiency, streamline client onboarding and product growth, and drive key business metrics.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping product direction by identifying operational pain points and inefficiencies, developing robust solutions, and codifying them into clear, actionable runbooks. Additionally, you’ll influence both internal and external training materials, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on new processes and equipped for successful execution.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact, and high-autonomy position. You’ll be at the forefront of solving complex, high-priority business challenges, and your scope of responsibility will expand rapidly as we grow.
This position requires 5 days onsite at our Mountain View, CA office
What You'll Do:
Build out scalable infrastructure to improve operational efficiencies and directly impact top line revenue and bottom line profitability
Contribute to the design and implementation of systems and processes that facilitate scalability and efficiency in a hyper growth environment
Solve complex, ambiguous business problems and drive and own operational metrics (productivity, quality, scalability)
Be responsible for owning key operational metrics, productivity is based off pushing metrics forward not time
Engage in cross-functional collaboration with key internal stakeholders, including our Product, Engineering, and Account Management teams
Gather, clean, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to uncover
trends, outliers, and actionable insights.
Design, write, and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and aggregate data
from relational databases.
Build interactive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as
Google Sheets, Excel, Looker Studio, Power BI, or other BI platforms.
Develop lightweight JavaScript-based logic for BI tools or front-end solutions (e.g.,
Retool) to support business users with dynamic views or form-driven workflows.
Assist in developing and maintaining ETL pipelines or automated data workflows to
support regular reporting and analytics needs.
Support process development efforts by identifying inefficiencies, proposing
improvements, and working with stakeholders to implement data-informed solutions.
What You Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business.
Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or operations analytics.
Experience with SQL, data visualization and workflow automation tools is a must
Exposure to JavaScript or scripting languages for light automation tasks is a plus.
Previous internship or academic projects involving data-driven decision-making, report building, or process analysis are advantageous.
Strong analytical mindset, willingness to learn, and comfort with working in cross-functional teams.
