Description and Requirements Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Monitoring and MaintenanceContinuously monitor system health and performance using tools like ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.Perform regular maintenance to ensure system stability and high availability.Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.Incident ManagementRespond swiftly to system incidents and outages, leading resolution efforts.Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.Document incident reports and post-mortem analyses for continuous improvement.Infrastructure OptimizationAnalyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.Implement strategies to enhance system efficiency, scalability, and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and upgrades.Automation and ScriptingDevelop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline operations.Implement automation solutions to reduce manual intervention and errors.Security and ComplianceEnsure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory standards.Participate in security audits and apply necessary patches and updates.Stay informed about emerging security threats and proactively mitigate risks.Support and CollaborationProvide technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders.Collaborate with development, QA, and engineering teams to align operations with business goals.Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems 24/7. Required Skills and QualificationsDevelopment Background: Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.Messaging Systems: Basic knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ.Caching & Data Stores: Familiarity with Redis.Databases: Preference for NoSQL databases like ElasticSearch, MongoDB; strong understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana.Infrastructure Knowledge: Basic understanding of Nginx, DNS, Kubernetes.Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.
