Our Underwater Systems team are proud to support the Royal Australian Navy, providing integrated mission-critical solutions to below-surface platforms. With access to some of the world’s most advanced technologies, our people enable naval forces around the world with our state-of-the-art Sonar and undersea combat systems.

Located in North Sydney's Rydalmere, on Darug land, your role purpose will be:

Maintain technical knowledge across all the subsystems of the Scylla SonarCarry out all technical support tasks in a safe and efficient mannerConduct all test procedures applicable to the equipment and assist with analysis of resultsPerform modifications and upgrades to electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical assembliesLead and perform off site work as required in support of Submarine Full Cycle Docking tasksProvide professional advice for the continuous improvement repair systems, processes and proceduresAssist in maintaining the secure network configuration and performing maintenance of the secure labs

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Cert III in Electronic Engineering or equivalentStrong understanding of analogue/digital and microprocessor based electronic systemsPrevious experience in a Defence Industry environmentExperienced in hardware fault findingProficient in MS SuiteExceptional written and oral communicationWorking knowledge of SCYLLA Sonar is desirable
