About the role + Our Business Development team, composed of 12 people, is integrated in the Peroxide Business Unit department and focuses on opportunity creation and development in collaboration with the line and staff functions. Join our dynamic, Global Business Development Team, driving growth for hydrogen peroxide across diverse industries and global markets. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen partnerships and unlock new commercial opportunities in key sectors like mining, water treatment, and beyond, making a tangible impact on a global scale. + As a Technical Sales and Support Engineer, you will serve as a trusted partner to both clients and internal teams—delivering expert guidance, troubleshooting process challenges, and identifying opportunities to enhance hydrogen peroxide applications. With approximately 70% of your time dedicated to technical support, you'll lead field trials, analyze performance data, and provide practical solutions tailored to mining and water treatment environments. The remaining 30% of your role will focus on sales enablement: contributing technical insights to business proposals, identifying growth opportunities, and helping clients adopt innovative technologies that drive safety, sustainability, and operational excellence. + You will be accountable for: + Leading technical consultations, troubleshooting, and field support to ensure safe and optimal deployment of hydrogen peroxide systems. + Designing, executing, and analyzing field trials to validate product efficacy and deliver actionable insights for process improvement. + Delivering targeted technical training and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders. + Collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams to identify opportunities, support proposal development, and enable technical selling. + Communicating client needs and trends to cross-functional teams for product enhancements and strategic planning. + We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working model based in Sydney. Expectation would be to be at the Banksmeadow manufacturing site a minimum of 2 days every week. You must be able to travel up to 30% of your time. About you + Relevant education degree or equivalent in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) or Science (Chemistry or Metallurgy). + Relevant work experience of more than 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing plant or mine. + Competencies: + Hydrogen Peroxide Application Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the product and its use. Mining Industry Knowledge: Understanding the specific processes and challenges of the mining sector. + Technical Problem-Solving & Analysis: Ability to diagnose issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions. + Client Relationship Management & Communication: Effectively building relationships and conveying technical information. + Field Trial Design and Execution: Ability to design, set up, and execute field trials safely, including data collection and analysis, to demonstrate product efficacy and optimize applications + Behaviors: + Safety Consciousness: Prioritizing safety in all aspects of work, particularly when handling hazardous materials and conducting field trials. About the pay and benefits + Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Australia base pay reasonably expected for this role is 135,000 to 165,000 AUD, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
