Job Description: Technical Marketing Engineer – Gigamon Want to shape the future of how the world’s most critical networks are run and secured? So do we. At Gigamon, we’re not just improving operations and security — we’re reimagining them. With nearly 2x the market share of our next competitors combined, we’re uniquely positioned to become the data pipeline for every security, observability, and AI/ML tool in the enterprise. Modern networks are a mix of legacy and cutting-edge technologies — on-premises, cloud-based, and everything in between. Yet, most organizations still manage them as if it were the '90s. We’re changing that. Gigamon is the platform where monitoring, security, and analytics tools plug in to get clean, consistent access to all data in motion. We’re looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) who’s part storyteller, part builder, and 100% driven to make an impact. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, product, sales, and customers — translating vision into real-world proof. Typical TME part of our job:Craft killer demos and enablement content for our field, partners, and customers.Deliver field-ready training and scalable content that gets adopted across the org.Conduct a competitive product teardown. You get to choose what you work on: innovate, build, fail fast, and lead the industry.Help the world’s largest orgs apply network-derived telemetry into private LLMs for operations and security. Travel occasionally (every 6–8 weeks on average), or go big and become a global customer whisperer. AI, ML, cloud-native security. Why This Role Matters At Gigamon, TMEs don’t just support solutions — they shape them. You’ll be one of the first people outside of engineering to touch on what’s new, and often the one who helps the rest of the company (and our customers) understand why it matters. We’re looking for someone hungry to experiment, lead, and teach — someone who wants to be the person our sales team asks for by name and our engineers trust to test the future. Let’s redefine how organizations monitor and secure together. The base salary compensation range targeted for this role, based at Gigamon’s Santa Clara, CA, Headquarters office, is $136,000 - $170,000, with an opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to the terms and conditions of the plan).
