What you’ll do:
The TME will be the technical expert across a range of Instant On switches, access points, security gateways, and enabling cloud management solutions. This includes but is not limited to 802.11ax/ac/be, firewall, IPSec, IPS/IDS, 802.1x, Layer 2 switching, static routing, DNS, DHCP, POE, WLAN security, and other components of the Instant On solution portfolio such as switching and network management.
The TME may help prepare bleeding-edge demos in a small lab environment. They will be actively engaged in developing technical awareness of product capabilities to be released, leading technical updates in regions to educate about our roadmap, new feature introduction, and differentiators.
The TME will spend almost half of their time generating technical collaterals, including reviewing and producing technical application notes, configuration and design guides, in-depth feature descriptions with translation to customer-added value for their business, and assisting in curriculum and training development when required. They will be responsible for reviewing and developing white papers, technical briefs, and implementation documents for publication on the web and printed media. The TME will participate in and support technical forums and industry shows. They may be called to support escalations, troubleshooting, and assist the support organization as a subject matter expert. Competitive analysis, documentation of differentiators, and sales force enablement with up-to-date battle cards and competitive reviews will be part of recurring activities.
What you need to bring:
BSEE with 4+ years or MS with 6+ years in technical marketing, technical sales, customer support, or equivalent role6.Deep and comprehensive understanding of networking technology and the ability to develop strong technical knowledge of company products.Networking equipment evaluation experience.Solid understanding of 802.11 technologies and experience deploying WLANs and switches for enterprises.Strong understanding of LAN and WAN networking protocols and technologies, including switching, security, and basic routing.Good understanding of and experience with cloud services, cloud-managed network deployments.Well-recognized industry certifications such as ACMX/ACDX/CWNE/CCIE are strongly preferred.Outstanding communication skills and demonstrated ability in developing and delivering complex technical presentations.Proficient in presenting in front of various-size sales teams, customer audiences, and industry forums.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven experience in the design, development, and implementation of technical papers and reports.Experience with SMBs and transactional sales models is desirable.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, parallel projects to deadline.Working knowledge of WLAN/LAN/cloud-networking competitive landscape when presenting to SEs, sales and territory managers, and channel partners.Additional Skills:
