**Job Description:**
+ We are seeking a skilled IT Communications Specialist to join our internal communications team, supporting the delivery of timely, clear, and user-focused messages related to IT systems, services, and initiatives.
+ The ideal candidate will excel at translating technical information into language accessible to a broad employee audience and will play a central role in drafting and editing content for emails, training materials, web content, and internal announcements.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Write and edit internal communications on behalf of IT, including maintenance notices, system rollouts, process changes, and executive messages.
+ Convert complex or technical IT information into clear, concise user-friendly content.
+ Draft email templates, microcopy, surveys, forms, and training materials to support IT initiatives and service updates.
+ Collaborate with IT stakeholders to ensure communications are aligned, accurate, and appropriately targeted.
+ Maintain and improve content on the internal SharePoint Online site, including articles, FAQs, and user resources.
+ Monitor feedback to improve user experience (UX) and update communication standards or templates accordingly.
+ Support critical incident communications by quickly drafting and reviewing urgent notifications.
+ Assist in promoting IT work, accomplishments, and updates through internal campaigns or site content.
**Experience:**
+ Proven experience in user-facing content writing, especially in a technical or IT environment.
+ Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear, engaging, and user-centered language.
+ Solid writing portfolio showcasing short-form and long-form communications, especially microcopy and internal messaging.
+ Proficiency with business communication tools such as Microsoft Office and SharePoint Online.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to write on behalf of executives or leadership.
+ Strong attention to detail, editing, and proofreading skills.

**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
