The Technical Manager for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platform plays a critical leadership role in unlocking the power of data at Wawa. In this role, you’ll lead the charge in driving the full analytics lifecycle — from data capture and transformation to advanced reporting, dashboards, and actionable insights. You’ll work at the intersection of technology and business, partnering with leaders across the organization to deliver reliable, scalable analytics solutions that fuel growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities
Lead the design, delivery, and evolution of Wawa’s analytics platforms, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.Partner with business leaders to identify critical KPIs, create visualizations, and deliver actionable insights.Ensure platform governance, data integrity, and security compliance.Oversee integration of analytics platforms with enterprise systems and manage sunsetting of outdated tools.Provide hands-on leadership in data analysis, platform optimization, and issue resolution.Mentor and develop high-performing analytics team; foster innovation and collaboration.Manage vendor relationships and key projects from inception to delivery.Collaborate with Cloud, Security, and Infrastructure teams on capacity, performance, and risk management.Establish production support standards, proactively resolve platform issues, and manage escalations.Essential Functions:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or engineering field preferredExperience in managing, and implementing 7x24x365 e-commerce analytics offeringMinimum of 12 years previous working experience in IT with 10+ years of experience in BI/Analytics Tech delivery and managing 3-4 BI leadsExperience in working with and managing teams that are both local and globalHands-on experience in MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud and AI driven analytics tools are highly preferredKnowledge of Cloud Data platform, and Business Intelligence tools and solutions strongly preferredStrong knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehousing, Data Analytics and Data Governance requiredKnowledge of Wawa stores or retail/e-commerce business flows and operations are beneficialPrior applications development experience leveraging a software development lifecycle methodology is a mustWawa will provide reasonable accommodation to complete an application upon request, consistent with applicable law.
