Job Title: Senior Technical Manager
Job Description

The Senior Technical Manager (Cell Lead) is responsible for driving results in a fast-paced environment by directing all product development team activities. This role involves coordinating the direction of the development program through development and production, including Chemistry, Analytics, Engineering, and Solid State Chemistry. The incumbent will play a key role in external communication with customers, supporting the Project Manager and ensuring the collaborative development and performance of the work cell team members.

ResponsibilitiesLead the execution and supervision of process development and design to ensure an effective right-first-time control strategy in production.Keep project documentation and deliverables up-to-date with relevant data pertaining to research and production.Maintain responsibility for the scientific substance of projects, ensuring team accountability to functional standard work deliverables and their integration with other development functions.Foster a culture of innovation to add value to the customer's program.Coordinate the generation of updates, reports, protocols, and governance packages, ensuring scientific and executional accuracy.Ensure appropriate technical and project escalation occurs when necessary.Participate in meetings by telephone with the customer.Ensure readiness of development outputs and drive deliverables with the team for manufacturing readiness.Essential SkillsProficiency in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, and Management.Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Chemical Engineering required; Master's or PhD preferred.7-10 years of experience in a pharma, biotech, or regulated industry.Experience in a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsPharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in a smaller setting rather than a large corporation.Work Environment

The Senior Technical Manager will work in various areas within the facility as needed, leading a team of approximately 10-11 people. The role offers a 5% bonus based on team success and a high opportunity for advancement into the executive team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

When hired they will receive a 5% bonus. They have PTO, holiday, health, dental vision and several other benefits.
