Technical Maintenance Manager

Why this role?

The Technical Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the technical service delivery team to ensure that all KONE elevators and escalators at the client site operate with minimal downtime and maximum reliability. This role is critical in driving technical excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing maintenance team.

What will you be doing?

1. Technical Oversight & Issue Resolution

Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex technical issues, including equipment defects, breakdowns, and performance anomalies.Oversee and manage replacement and conversion works to ensure equipment is upgraded or restored to optimal condition.Collaborate with THD and product support teams to address recurring technical challenges and implement long-term solutions.

2. Service Delivery & Performance Monitoring

Ensure timely and high-quality service delivery across all maintenance activities.Monitor equipment performance metrics and proactively address potential issues before they escalate.Implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to reduce breakdowns and entrapments.

3. Client Relationship Management

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the client, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of concerns.Conduct regular audits and service reviews with the client to maintain transparency and trust.Provide technical consultation and recommendations to improve equipment performance and lifecycle.

4. Team Leadership & Development

Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Maintenance Technicians to enhance their technical skills and service mindset.Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and facilitate continuous learning opportunities.Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence within the team.

5. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare and submit detailed breakdown and entrapment reports as required by the client, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Maintain comprehensive records of service activities, technical interventions, and equipment history.Analyse service data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
