Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in software development. 5 years of experience testing and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture. Experience in a leadership role or in people management. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Experience with iOS or mobile development. 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction. 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects. Responsibilities: Lead and guide on the technical aspects of development including requirements definition, design, implementation, and success metrics. Lead, manage, inspire, and grow a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Provide feedback, career development, own all manager responsibilities, and help influence a learning/growth-based culture. Ensure the team delivers solutions meeting performance and scalability. Oversee and drive iOS notification capabilities and improvements, enabling new use cases for Google apps and driving iOS engagement.
