The Chevron Business Support Center (BASSC) located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting applications for the position **Technical Lead - ERP Asset Management & Material Managemen** **.** Successful candidates will join team which is part of a successful multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1700 employees delivering business services and solutions across the globe.
The Technical Lead will provide oversight and leadership to a team responsible for delivering ERP support and enhancements for the Asset Management & Material Management BASSC teams. This new Job role is responsible for providing functional and technical direction for the SAP system within our core Asset Management and supply chain management processes involved with MM/PM modules. The candidate will work closely with business leads to understand their requirements and translate them into system configurations and customizations. The Technical Lead will partner with business owners to ensure technical considerations are appropriately prioritized for the team’s digital products and business capabilities. This role involves supervising team members, managing skillsets within the team, and ensuring successful delivery execution of assigned Agile epics.
Main Responsibilities:
+ Configure and support SAP PM-MM modules.
+ Maintain and optimize material master data for accuracy and consistency.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Logistics) to ensure end-to-end process integration and effective support to the operations.
+ Identify and implement improvements for SAP PM-MM and material master operations.
+ Participate in full lifecycle SAP projects, including implementation, upgrades, go-live, and post-support.
+ Assist in the End to end process design, build, test, integration for Asset management & material management solutions
+ Provide delivery support and assist in resolving open SAP Solution architecture related risks and issues – by leveraging experience.
+ Responsible for functional specifications, data conversion, integration specifications related to Asset management & material management.
+ Provide thought Leadership, best practice, and Subject Matter Expertise within team
+ Set the technical vision for the Asset Management & Material management team.
+ Lead the design and architecture of complex solutions ensuring scalability, robust security, and cost-effectiveness.
+ Hire, attract, and retain talent for the delivery organization.
+ Communicate and reinforce the desired work culture, including a focus on personal and process safety. Recognize accomplishments and team member contributions.
+ Build team alignment, ensuring team has a clear understanding of the business global priorities. Enable others to work effectively and collaboratively in a multi-discipline, multi-function, multi-cultural, and matrix environment.
+ Support the business and & IT managers in managing the overall performance of the organization, aligning teams with the rest of the teams in the organization, and escalating any team concerns.
+ Ensure prioritization and capacity allocation are done to delivery on the business strategy/objectives.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery partners, including peers at other locations, to execute the organization prioritized and strategic objectives.
+ Provide technical support and mentoring to junior staff
+ Promote best practice and common standards and technology usage within the team
+ Manage performance and development of technical team members
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a comparable field.
+ 7+ years experience implementing Asset Management & Material Management solutions in SAP. Preferably with S4/HANA implementation experience.
+ 5+ years of experience in SAP MM/PM (configuration, customization, support).
+ 2 or more implementations or robust experiences with design, configuration of material management applications and overall project delivery
+ Expertise in managing material master data within SAP.
+ Proficient development skills using ABAP objects, HANA SQL Programming, SAP Business Technology Platform tools
+ Have a proven track record in the SAP environment, working on a project team
+ Previous experience includes supporting integration between SAP modules/functions
+ Creative and critical thinking, problem solving, business case development and achievement.
+ Uses perseverance, collaboration, and knowledge to drive desired outcomes.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, ability to engage and work in a global team across multiple time zones. Strong communication skills. Ability to be well-organized, clear and concise in conversations and written communications.
+ Flexible to work across global time zones with onshore and offshore internal and partner teams
+ Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and provide solution architecture guidance.
+ Experience hiring and managing team supervisors
+ Self-driven, can work with minimal supervision
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
+ Team player who exhibits effective interpersonal skills with a collaborative style
