Job Summary:

The Autonomous Driving Feature Development Engineer will work in a team environment to develop next-generation products for automotive ADAS, active safety, and AD vehicle systems. This will include design, development, and testing of feature/function algorithms,  behaviour, trajectory planning, assessment & vehicle control algorithms.

Your Role:

Develop, code, and maintain ADAS, active safety, and automated vehicle behaviour, planning, behaviour, assessment and vehicle control algorithmsDevelop technical specifications and DFMEAsConduct detailed performance analysisWork with colleagues and customers to develop and implement enhancements to address real-world performance issuesComplete assigned individual and team tasksSupport improving code quality overall, while mentoring less experienced members in the team as needed.

Your Background:

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

Master’s degree in, Computer Science, Robotics or related technical field4+ years of programming experience in C++ with high proficiency2+ years of development and testing of algorithms and code experience (can include industry, academic or internship)Strong in control theory & systems designExcellent data extraction & analysis skills (MATLAB, Excel)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsSuperior communication & presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in  EEE ,Instrumentation ,ECE Engineering, Computer Science, related technical6+ years of development and testing of algorithms and code experience (can include industry, academic or internship) in C++.Background in automotive radar, vision, lidar, sensor fusionBackground in optimization, path planning and advanced filtering methodsBackground in object detection and tracking algorithm designISO 26262 / Functional Safety functional expertise
