We are looking for a Tech Lead to join our IS/IT Digital products team.

IS/IT Digital Products stream aims to scale MVP into digital products and integrate them to the Thalesian ecosystem for Thales functions to solve the users’ pain point.

We are working on Azure on most of our project (sometimes the prod is on premise, but you won’t operate it). Our infra stack is either AKS, either Azure app service.

Our app stack:

• Java (spring boot on Maven mostly)

• Angular/React

• Kotlin

Our dev stack:

• IntelliJ

• Jira cloud, Miro

• Gitlab

• Sonarqube enterprise, nessus, artifactory

As part of our team, your responsibilities will include

Working together with the PO to transform the business needs into technical requirements.Undertaking the design and development of applications using templates and tools.Assisting as part of the team on the design of components of systems.Producing detailed designs including, for example, physical data flows, file layouts, common routines and utilities, program specifications or prototypes and backup, recovery and restart procedures.Assessing the technical risks and assumptions coming from development team and manage the potential impact on the product functionalityUsing your skills and project-based experience to provides support to less experienced colleagues.Interaction with your teammates and review their code to identify failures and optimize itDeveloping the tasks using solid principles and respecting all the dev best practices (comment, small class & methods)Write tests (unit, integration and e2e)Refactor past code in order to optimize itWrite code using business logicAvoid security breach (sql injection, xss breach …)Responsibility for the availability or a regular product increment incorporating new features

Requirements

Significant experience with Java (6+ years)Strong understanding of Java fundamentals, OOP principles, design patterns and engineering practicesServer-side framework (i.e. Spring, hibernate etc)Understanding of Web protocols and technologies, RESTful Web servicesIn-debt understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)Experience with GIT, SonarIntercultural communicationTeam-playerSolution oriented while open to embrace new technologiesFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesAdvanced in spoken and written English

Architecture skillsOperational skills (setup CICD pipelines, infrastructure monitoring)Experience with Docker and Kubernetes basisTDD, Domain DD
