**Job Summary** We are seeking a Technical Lead with 6 to 8 years of experience in Core Java and Java 8. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model and will not require travel. This role involves leading technical projects ensuring high-quality code and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. **Responsibilities** + Lead the development and implementation of technical projects using Core Java and Java 8. + Oversee the design and architecture of software solutions to ensure they meet business requirements. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to enhance their skills and productivity. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements. + Ensure the delivery of high-quality code by conducting code reviews and implementing best practices. + Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maintain system stability and performance. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate them into the development process. + Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies. + Develop and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance activities. + Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives. + Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback. + Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards in all development activities. + Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. **Qualifications** + Possess strong experience in Core Java and Java 8. + Demonstrate proficiency in designing and implementing software solutions. + Exhibit excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. + Show ability to mentor and guide junior developers. + Have experience with agile development methodologies. + Display strong communication and collaboration skills. **Certifications Required** Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 8 Programmer Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
