**About the role** As a Technical Lead – Data Analytics & BigQuery, you will make an impact by designing, optimizing, and implementing data solutions using BigQuery and SQL. You will be a valued member of the Modern Data Engineering team and work collaboratively with modern data engineering experts. **In this role, you will:** + Lead the design and implementation of data solutions using Google BigQuery to enhance data processing capabilities. + Oversee the development and maintenance of database management systems to ensure data integrity and security. + Provide expert analysis of data sets to identify trends and insights that support business objectives. + Collaborate with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications. + Develop and optimize SQL queries to improve data retrieval and reporting efficiency. + Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data by implementing robust validation and verification processes. + Mentor junior team members in best practices for data management and analysis. + Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into existing business processes. + Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. + Implement data governance policies to maintain compliance with industry standards. + Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data analytics capabilities. + Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making. + Contribute to the company’s mission by delivering data-driven insights that impact strategic planning. **Work model:** We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible.
