The Flowserve Pump Division (FPD) Technical Knowledge Management Manager is responsible for leading Global Pump Engineering Specialists and Technical Competency Centers. Their team will use their comprehensive technical knowledge to support the day-to-day business, develop a technical talent pipeline, and drive the Technical Knowledge Management Initiative within Flowserve.
Responsibilities:
Regional Leader for managing Engineering Specialists and Technical Competency Centers
Handle the day-to-day technical requests to support pump products, applications and industries.
Improve current processes and team’s efficiency
Develop and carry out short-term and long-term strategies and processes to leverage, preserve and transfer technical engineering knowledge
Work with Educational Services to develop essential and critical trainings for the business
Drive key performance metrics for Year-over-year improvements in Safety, Quality, and Customer Experience.
Requirements:
BS degree with related work in engineering and 5+ years experience as a people leader
Must possess effective communication skills (verbal, writing, and listening)
Good organizational skills, able to establish priorities and complete a high volume of work to meet deadlines
Demonstrate experience in working to established processes and developing new processes
Able to collaborate with others on projects but take the lead as required
Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and changing work environment
Ability to influence-decision makers in the organization
Familiar with ISO 30401: Knowledge Management Systems
Have strong computer skills, to include but not limited to: Microsoft Office software applications
