Senior Java & GCP Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java & GCP Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative batch and data processing solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and hands-on experience with Java and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor developers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and deployment of batch and data processing solutions. Provide technical direction for Java and GCP-based implementations. Mentor and guide a team of developers and engineers. Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Implement robust testing strategies and optimize performance. Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards. Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Expertise in Java and its ecosystems. Extensive experience with GCP (Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, BigQuery). 7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on batch processing and data-driven applications. Strong knowledge of secure data handling (PII/PHI). Proven ability to write clean, defect-free code. 3+ years of leadership experience, mentoring and guiding teams. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
