Roles and Responsibilities

Perform training to the quality level of the GE Vernova Global Educational StandardsPerform training classes for internal GE Vernova, contractors and external customer field technicians.Perform High end technical training to customers.Perform training on site. Deliver On the Job training in the field. Support the development and updates of global training material with technical knowledge and teaching methodology. Act as a mentor and evaluator for both new instructors and for On the Job mentors in the field. 

Desired Qualifications & Characteristics

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university or college or equivalent qualification with 8+years experience.​Experience on construction or service sites.Technical English in written and oralTechnical troubleshooting skills at a high levelSolid instructor and teaching capabilities – expected no less than equivalent to “GWO Instructor Qualification Training” standardSolid teaching capabilities both as Instructor Led classroom training as well as in Virtual Reality (desired)Ability to climb Wind Turbines as needed as part of field support assignments Ability and willingness to travel up to 70% Domestic / International / offshoreOutstanding verbal communication skills and ability to comfortably address large audiencesIndependent, Self-motivatedGeneral technical Wind turbine experience (desired) Multi-lingual, English mandatory, a second language favorable (desired) Hindi/French / GermanStrong computer software aptitude & interest, with an ability to learn new concepts quickly and independently.Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
