We’re looking for a Technical Instructor to work remotely covering the US West region developing training objectives (present and future content to be developed) for the products across the Aggreko fleet

What you’ll do:

Work remotely in the West region, supporting training needs with travel, ideally near the Los Angeles service centerCollaborate with Management, Technical Services & Engineering, and Training staff to define current and future training objectives for Aggreko productsDevelop technical training programs covering safety, installation, operation, teardown, programming, maintenance, and repair of equipment, following relevant electrical and safety standardsPrepare training materials such as outlines, handouts, tests, and practical exercises, consulting with Subject Matter Experts to ensure relevanceLead training sessions using lectures, demonstrations, and practical on-the-job training, including observation of traineesSupport training delivery for non-technical audiences like sales teams as neededAdminister exams, update or create new content based on lessons learned or new productsAssist with scheduling training, maintaining training records, and participate in meetings and seminars to improve or develop training programs, also supporting employee performance evaluations when requested

 You’ll have the following skills and experience:

Associate degree / Vocational training / Equivalent years of experience5 to 7 years of relevant experience as a Field/Shop Technicians Power or multiskilledExcellent written, verbal communication, and coaching skillsAbility to travel across the NAM business areasKnowledge and practical experiences with principles and methods individual for curriculum and training design, instruction, and measurement for individuals and groups
