Job Description

Client Services is seeking a technical implementation administrator to support strategic, technology partnerships for Visa Acceptance Solutions platforms.

The role is responsible for the technical administration of external clientele, supporting the overall technical service experience of top Technology Partners that integrate to Visa payment APIs across the Acceptance Solutions ecosystem, which in turn serves Acquirers and Merchants whom accept and process digital and customer-present payments.    

This role is recognized as a technical implementation thought leader and authority on payment solutions, with a track record of partner enablement through successful API integration assistance.  The individual will have a vital role in ensuring that partners’ integrations are functioning optimally, by supporting both the initial implementation project as well as prioritizing the troubleshooting of irregular technical API issues post-implementation.

The analyst will work with the Product teams to validate roadmaps and launches, and with the Sales organization to foster these key client relationships with outbound communications.  The individual will play a core role during scoping discussions, product trainings, and implementation presentations, as necessary, ensuring the business places client needs at the heart of products, operations, and servicing models.

Responsibilities:

Act as technical point of contact for strategic, high value technology partners, by addressing technical implementation challenges, including API integration issues and related payment questions that may ariseMonitor and troubleshoot technical escalations until issues have been resolvedOversee and coordinate implementations and provide as-needed consultative API integration guidance for new clientele across multiple productsEducate partners on Authorize.net products and functionalities, and how they contribute to the clients’ business modelsWork with partners on best practices in the payments space, including PCI Compliance & secure transaction processingDefine and lead engagement processes between Authorize.net resellers, technology partners, resold merchants, and broader Authorize.net teamsAdvocate strongly for product enhancement requests with cross-functional teamsLead product trainings and perform partner business reviews as neededPerform straight-forward data migrations, imports and exports, on a limited basisImprove Developer Guides and Technical User Documentation, as necessaryConvey deep product knowledge in Authorize.net products and client programs, and the related SDK and API integration points they utilize, to various clients of all skillsetsPartner with channel Sales teams to build relationships with technical and business contacts

Coordinate touch-points across business & operations teams, as necessary

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:

3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, Outlook, Word, Visio)A track record of strong technical support, with in-depth troubleshooting & problem solving focus. 3+ years of experience in a technical support role is strongly preferredComprehensive understanding of API integration technologies: API formats (JSON, XML, NVP, SOAP, plus REST) & related key management, SDK & sample code repositories & deployment platforms (GitHub, Postman), nascent MCP Server framework, HTTP protocol & TLS certificateStrong understanding of software engineering concepts, including IDEs, light coding experience with various programming languages (Java, C#, JavaScript, etc.), markdown & markup usage (HTML, XML) and query language usage (SQL, Splunk SPL)3+ years of payment industry experience is strongly preferredAbility to articulate complex topics to variable audiences is requiredRisk mitigation methodology experiences are preferredExcellent written and verbal communication & presentation skillsExperience in working with cross-functional, cross-department teamsProject management methodology experience preferredMust have the ability to skillfully prioritize and manage concurrent client projects and issuesA self-starter with strong organization skills and technical resolution management

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is to $82,100 USD to 130,650 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
