We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Expert - Electrical to join our team in Gqeberha, South Africa. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance and support for our electrical systems and projects. + Design and develop electrical systems and controls for industrial applications + Analyze complex electrical engineering problems and provide innovative solutions + Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize electrical system performance + Conduct technical reviews and provide expert advice on electrical engineering projects + Develop and maintain technical documentation for electrical systems and processes + Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in a timely manner + Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical technologies and industry trends + Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers and technicians + Participate in project planning and execution to ensure electrical system requirements are met + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field + Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering or related field + Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred + Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN + In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Experience with industrial electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems + Expertise in automation technologies + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment + Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills + Willingness to travel to project sites as needed Medimed Medical Aid – with 3 options to choose from with the Company subsidising 50% of the cost Provident Fund – 2 options to choose from with the Company contributing an additional 10.5% towards it.
